The guesthouse is situated in Leuth, a tiny village in the Ooijpolder near Nijmegen, 10 car minutes away from the city centre of Nijmegen. In Leuth you can find a supermarket, cafeteria, ATM (inside the supermarket).
If you want to go out to eat something, there is the possibility to go to Nijmegen. But also Millingen aan de Rijn, a village about 5 kilometres away has a number of dining options. In the village Persingen is an old windmill rebuilt with a nice restaurant underneath it, where you can drink and eat something and enjoy a beautiful view. There is a bike rental nearby. Leuth is a great starting point for hiking, biking and making trips to Nijmegen, Kleve (Germany) and Groesbeek. Also, the “Pieterpad route” (a hiking route) runs through our village.
The Ooijpolder is a beautiful part of the Netherlands, where you can find rest, space and beautiful nature. In this area you might run into wild Galloway cattle or Konik horses. Several small villages, including Millingen a/d Rijn, Ooij, Persingen and Beek, are waiting in a beautiful polder landscape to be discovered!
Besides the polder, the area also offers several villages and towns, like Groesbeek, Nijmegen, Kleve (Germany), where you can have fun shopping, play some golf, or have a drink on a terrace. If you are interested you can also visit the beautiful historical buildings and/or museums.
